About the Journal – Jurnal Dura Negara (JDN)
Jurnal Dura Negara (JDN) is a peer-reviewed open access journal published by the International Relations Major, Udayana University. Established in 2025, JDN provides an academic platform for the dissemination of high-quality scholarly research that explores a broad range of topics in international relations and global affairs. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars, researchers, practitioners, and students worldwide. It publishes original articles that engage critically with theories, policies, and practices across diverse subfields of international relations.

JDN covers (but is not limited to) the following themes:

JDN is published twice a year (in January and July) and is committed to ensuring timely, rigorous, and ethical peer-review processes.

JDN is an open access journal, meaning all content is freely available to users and institutions. History of the Journal
Jurnal Dura Negara (JDN) was established in 2025 by the International Relations department at Udayana University to provide a platform for scholarly research in International Relations and its intersecting fields. The journal initially published twice a year (March and September) and has since grown in both scope and reputation. Over time, JDN expanded its contributor base both nationally and internationally. It adopted an open access model in 2025 under a Creative Commons license to encourage wider dissemination and accessibility of academic knowledge.
Today, JDN is committed to publishing peer-reviewed, high-quality articles that contribute to global academic discourse in international affairs. It continues to serve as a trusted source for scholars, practitioners, and students engaged in the study of international relations related to various concept from diplomacy, development, global governance, and beyond.
