History
Jurnal Dura Negara (JDN) was established in 2025 by the International Relations Major of Udayana University as part of its commitment to advancing scholarly discourse in international relations and global affairs. From its inception, JDN has been envisioned as a peer-reviewed, open-access academic platform dedicated to disseminating high-quality research.
The founding of JDN reflects the growing need for a space where academics, researchers, practitioners, and students from around the world can engage in critical discussions that connect theories, policies, and practices in the study of international relations. Since its launch, the journal has sought to encourage diverse perspectives and foster dialogue across different subfields, including diplomacy, global governance, security studies, foreign policy, gender issue, and international political economy.
By providing unrestricted access to its content, JDN upholds the principle that knowledge should be freely shared to promote wider scholarly exchange, particularly between the Global South and the broader international academic community. In doing so, the journal contributes not only to academic enrichment but also to the practical understanding of pressing issues in global affairs.
