Peer Review Policy
Preliminary Editorial Assessment
Every manuscript submitted to the journal first undergoes an editorial desk evaluation. At this stage, the Editorial Board examines whether the submission demonstrates originality, methodological soundness, and research integrity. The editors also check conformity with the journal’s aims, scope, and formatting requirements. Authors may be asked to revise their work before review, or, if the manuscript is deemed unsuitable, it may be declined at this stage. Authors will typically be notified of the outcome within two weeks.
External Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial check are forwarded to external reviewers. The journal applies a double-blind review system, ensuring that the identities of both authors and reviewers remain undisclosed. Generally, two qualified experts are invited to provide independent assessments, and the process usually takes around 4–8 weeks.
Reviewer Evaluation and Recommendations
Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommend one of the following decisions:
- Accept: The manuscript is approved for publication, with only minor editorial adjustments needed.
- Minor Revision: The paper can be accepted once minor corrections are made. Authors are given approximately 2 weeks to resubmit.
- Major Revision: Substantial changes are required to address critical issues. Authors are given up to 3 weeks for revision.
- Reject: The manuscript is declined, typically due to insufficient originality, weak methodology, lack of fit with the journal’s scope, or concerns about research integrity.
Final Decision
The Editorial Board considers the reviewers’ recommendations before making the final decision. For revised manuscripts, authors must include a detailed response letter explaining how reviewers’ comments were addressed. If revisions are incomplete or unsatisfactory, the editors may reject the paper.
Production Stage
Accepted manuscripts undergo professional proofreading to improve readability and linguistic clarity, followed by typesetting and layout formatting. Authors are asked to check proofs carefully and approve the final version before publication.
Publication
Once finalized, articles are prepared for both online and print release. Authors are informed once their work is officially published.
