Location-Specific Balanced Fertilization Through Soil Fertility Evaluation in Rice Fields in the Tukad Oos Watershed. Rice is the most important food commodity for the people of Indonesia. However, farmers often face challenges in fertilizing their rice crops effectively. This study aims to assess soil fertility status, determine the spatial distribution of soil fertility, and provide site-specific balanced fertilization recommendations for rice fields in the Tukad Oos watershed. The methods used in this study include field surveys and laboratory soil tests. The process began with creating land unit (LU) maps by overlaying soil type maps, slope maps, and land use maps at a scale of 1:25,000. Five LUs were identified and used as working maps for monitoring and soil sampling in the field. The collected soil samples were analyzed for their chemical properties. The results indicated that the research location had two soil fertility statuses: low soil fertility in LUs III, IV, and V, and moderate soil fertility in LUs I and II. Low P-total and K-total content in LUs I, III, IV, and V were identified as limiting factors for soil fertility. To address this, it is recommended to add 100 kg/ha of SP-36 fertilizer or 100 kg/ha of NPK Phonska fertilizer, along with 100 kg/ha of KCl fertilizer, in accordance with the recommendations of Permentan No. 40 of 2007.
