Analysis of Potential and Status of Land Damage on Agricultural Land Based on Geographic Information System in Selemadeg Timur District, Tabanan Regency. Increased production activities that utilize natural resources can result in soil damage, resulting in a decline in soil quality and function. This decline in soil quality will reduce the productivity of natural resources, forestry, and agriculture. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential for soil damage, the status of soil damage, and the distribution of soil damage on agricultural land in East Selemadeg District. The method used in this study was a comparative descriptive method. Based on the overlay of land use maps, slope maps, and soil type maps using a geographic information system, 7 homogeneous land units were obtained. The land uses observed were rice fields and mixed gardens with field observations of surface rocks and solum depth. Soil samples were analyzed in the laboratory to determine bulk density, total porosity, texture, permeability, pH, DHL, and microbial counts. Determination of damage status was based on standard soil damage criteria. The results of the study showed two classes of potential soil damage, namely the potential for light soil damage in SLH 1, SLH 2, SLH 3, SLH 5 and the potential for moderate soil damage in SLH 4, SLH 6 and SLH 7. The status of light soil damage with limiting factors of permeability and DHL is in SLH 1, SLH 2, SLH 3, SL 4, SLH 5, SLH 6 and SLH 7.
