Abstract

This study aims to analyze the material strength of PET plastic bottle waste that has been processed into filaments through a
pultrusion process and used as a tablet support material. The material was printed using 3D printing, then tested for tensile
strength to obtain mechanical characteristics such as Elastic Modulus, Yield Strength, and Tensile Strength. These values were
input into Solidworks software to analyze two tablet stand designs created to support the Samsung Tab S9 FE tablet. Static
loading simulations were performed on both designs to compare structural performance based on Von Mises stress,
displacement, and safety factor parameters. The analysis results show that the first design has higher structural strength, while
the second design offers better mass efficiency and faster manufacturing processes, yet remains within safe usage limits based
on a safety factor above 1.0.
