Nilai-Nilai Pendidikan Karakter dalam Tradisi Sike di Desa Hiang Karya Kecamatan Sitinjau Laut Kabupaten Kerinci

This research explores the character education values inherent in the Sike tradition of Hiang Karya Village, Sitinjau Laut District, Kerinci Regency. Through interviews with local residents, village officials, and traditional leaders, the study identifies five main character qualities within the Sike tradition: religious values, nationalism, integrity, independence, and mutual collaboration. Religious principles are reflected in the practices of dhikr and praise, while the community's efforts to preserve their local culture highlight nationalist sentiments. Individual accountability within the Sike group emphasizes the importance of independence, and community cooperation underscores the value of mutual collaboration. Additionally, the community's commitment to upholding these principles illustrates the significance of integrity in their cultural practices
