Analisis Framing Pemberitaan Penolakan Pengungsi Rohingya Di Detik.Com Pada 08 Sampai 09 Desember 2023

Abstrak

The case of Rohingya refugees has again attracted media attention in Indonesia because of the large number of rejections from Rohingya refugees who landed in Aceh and its surroundings. The online news portal Detik.com contains photos and news text about Rohingya refugees from 08 to 09 December 2023. This research wants to see how the framing was carried out by Detik.com using Robert N. Entman's framing analysis. As a result, the framing of reporting on the rejection of Rohingya refugees, Detik.com tried to describe the rejection of Rohingya refugees by emphasizing the government's side. This news covers three big things, namely the rejection of Rohingya refugees not only coming from local residents but also netizens, a statement of a firm stance from the government, and the impact of the presence of Rohingya refugees living and settling in Indonesia.
