A news program is one of the programs owned by a television station. Although nowadays people can easily access media, the presence of television stations still persists until now. Similarly, LPP TVRI Stasiun Bali is still active in addressing the public with its various programs. As one of the media still active to this day, TVRI Stasiun Bali certainly needs to undergo the gatekeeping process to ensure the credibility of the information presented through the program called "Bali Hari Ini," which is a news program on TVRI Stasiun Bali. Gatekeeping is a process of sorting, choosing, arranging, and examining the suitability of information before it is presented to the public. This research employs a qualitative approach, conducting interviews with four key informants, comprising two producers, one assistant producer, and one broadcaster. In accordance with the findings gleaned from the research, it can be understood that TVRI Stasiun Bali has established standards in drafting news scripts. These standards include the requirement that news scripts must have public value, contain the 5W+1H elements, and adhere to P3SPS (Pedoman Perilaku Penyiaran dan Standar Program Siaran). In this regard, it is pertinent to note that the responsibility of gatekeeping is not solely vested in one or two individuals, but rather entails collaborative efforts involving multiple personnel, with producers and assistant producers exercising comprehensive oversight.
