About the Journal
The Proceedings of the Bali International Tourism Conference serve as the official publication platform for peer-reviewed papers presented at the Bali International Tourism Conference (BITC), a biennial international forum organized by the Centre of Excellence in Tourism, Udayana University. As an academic medium, these proceedings document scholarly contributions, theoretical advancements, and empirical research findings shared during the conference, ensuring that new knowledge is disseminated to academics, practitioners, policymakers, and global tourism stakeholders.
Each edition of BITC features a distinct thematic focus, reflecting contemporary and emerging issues in tourism, ranging from sustainable destination development and digital transformation to community empowerment, tourism resilience, cultural heritage, and regenerative tourism. By presenting diverse perspectives and interdisciplinary insights, the proceedings aim to enrich academic discourse, inform evidence-based policymaking, and contribute to the continued advancement of tourism scholarship in Indonesia and beyond.
