Penanda-Penanda Ketidaksantunan dalam Adaptasi Film “Pride and Prejudice” Karya Jane Austen
Abstract
This research aims to describe the form of impoliteness markers in the movie "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. The approach used in this research was pragmatic approach with descriptive qualitative research type. This research data was taken from dialogue in the film in which contains markers of impoliteness Then, the data source in this research was taken from the film "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. The data acquisition method used in this research were contextual method and pragmatic pairing method. The results of this research showed that there were 120 markers of impoliteness in the film "Pride and Prejudice" with 5 categories, namely the categories of gratuitous, playing with the face, face aggravate, face threatening, and face loss.
