SLANG DALAM KONTEN LOG-IN CLOSE THE DOOR DEDDY CORBUZIER DI YOUTUBE: KAJIAN MORFOSEMANTIK

Abstract

This study examines the variation of slang in Deddy Corbuzier's Ramadan Close the Door content on YouTube. YouTube is currently a very popular video sharing website. YouTube is part of social networking, which can have various impacts on its users. To be more familiar with YouTube users, most content creators use slang. Slang is a non-formal variety of Indonesian commonly used by teenagers as a code language. This study uses morphological and semantic theories. Data collection was carried out using the observation, free observation with conversation, and transcription methods. Data analysis was carried out using the matching method with the determining element sorting (PUP) technique and the comparative connection technique (HBS). The results of the data analysis are presented informally and formally. Based on the results of the study, the process of forming slang language varieties is dominated by singular forms followed by complex forms, starting from single words that experience a shift in meaning, such as cabut and gedek, to complex words through the acronym process baper, abbreviation bro, and insertion gokil. The results of the study of slang language in Deddy Corbuzier's “Close the Door” Ramadan content on YouTube show four meanings, namely lexical meaning, term meaning, denotative meaning, and connotative meaning.
