EFEKTIVITAS PENYEBARLUASAN FENOMENA PERINGATAN DARURAT UU PILKADA PADA GENERASI Z DI MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM

In August 2024, ‘Peringatan Darurat’ became a topic of public discussion due to changes in the provisions for regional head candidates that were deemed contrary to the Constitutional Court decision. This phenomenon spreads widely through social media, especially Instagram. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Instagram to disseminate information about ‘Peringatan Darurat’ against the revision of the Pilkada Law to Generation Z. This research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, distributing questionnaires to 149 Instagram users aged 17-30 wh0 are conscious of ‘Peringatan darurat’ phenomenon. The research instrument was developed based on three main indicators: engagement, reach, and message understanding. The results showed that spreading ‘Peringatan Darurat’, with an average total score of 32.92. The reach indicator has the highest score, 3.09; message understanding has the highest score, 3.00; and engagement has the lowest score, 2.12. These findings show that Instagram is an effective medium for disseminating ‘Peringatan Darurat’ to Generation Z.
